Ms Lina is a Nurse Clinician in the infection prevention and control department at Sengkang General Hospital (SKH) where she was pioneer team member in setting up SKH. She holds a master’s degree in Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) from Griffith University. She is a dedicated healthcare professional specialising in medical and surgical nursing with extensive clinical and educational experience.

Ms Lina has been involved in research, education, and clinical practice related to infection prevention and control for over 12 years. She is a skilled clinician and educator who has developed comprehensive expertise through extensive training across multiple healthcare institutions. Her journey in this field began with foundational IPC training at Singapore General Hospital (SGH) from 2013 to 2015. To further enhance her expertise, she completed specialised observerships at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) for three weeks and National University Hospital (NUH) for one week in 2016. In 2017, she was awarded a six-week Healthcare Manpower Development Programme (HMDP) attachment in the United Kingdom, where she trained at Royal Free Hospital and St. Thomas' Hospital, gaining valuable insights into international IPC practices and standards. Currently, she is extensively involved in national and institutional IPC education and clinical implementation, contributing to the advancement of infection prevention standards within the healthcare system.
