As infection prevention and control (IPC) practices in community and home care remain an evolving area with limited established guidance, NUHS has adapted inpatient IPC protocols to support care delivery beyond the acute setting. Delivering care in non‑controlled home environments presents ongoing challenges related to environmental constraints, caregiver practices, and surveillance. This presentation shares NUHS’ experiences, identified gaps, and collaborative efforts with community partners to strengthen safe and effective IPC in community‑based care.
