Basic ECG Interpretation I

This course aims to equip nurses with knowledge and skills to interpret and responds to abnormal ECG rhythms in the clinical settings.

Participants will learn to:

• Describe the Fundamentals of ECG

• Calculate the heart rate

• Outline the approach to rhythmn analysis, recognise the 6 steps for rhythm analysis

• Identify and interpret Atrial arrhythmias

• Identify and interpret Heart Blocks

• Identify and interpret Ventricular arrhythmias

Target Audience

Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses with at least 6 months working experiences in clinical settings.

Exclusion Criteria:

• Registered Nurses who had obtained Advanced Diploma in Nursing (Critical Care, Medical-Surgical & Emergency Nursing)
