This workshop offers advice on how to effectively write and publish a clinical research journal article. The workshop covers the principles of writing effective and compelling sections (Title, Abstract, introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion) for your journal article. The basis of dealing with references in your article (when, where and how should references be cited?) is also briefly outlined, as is the usage of generative AI tools for writing your article. At the same time, we will outline the principles of constructing effective graphic elements for your journal article.
The workshop will cover the following topics:
Administrators, Clinicians, Nurses and Allied Health Professionals starting out in scientific research and preparing a manuscript for submission to a journal.

Mr Ng Heok Hee
Ng Heok Hee is a scientific editor with more than 15 years' experience, he is passionate about the written word and about communicating research effectively. He has helped edit more than a hundred journal manuscripts and has helped researchers obtain more than $82 million in research funding by improving their grant proposals.
Ms Sukhvinder Kaur
Sukhvinder Kaur had served as managing editor for the Proceedings of Singapore Healthcare for many years. She has extensive experience in writing and publishing. With her experience in editing and processing manuscripts for the scientific journal, she is well placed to give pointers on how to prepare your manuscript.
