This workshop highlights and creates awareness for some of the legal issues faced by practicing physicians in medical practice by adopting an interactive methodology.

A/Prof Lai is a trained forensic pathologist and previously a Consultant at Health Sciences
Authority. He was Head (Training and Education) at the time of his departure in 2007. Since then,
he has returned to general hospital pathology practice. His interests lie in autopsy pathology,
cardiac pathology and neuropathology. A/Prof Lai is currently heavily involved in both
undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.
