Dear Friends and Colleagues, 

Welcome to the SingHealth Asia-Pacific Nursing Conference (SHNC) 2027, co-organised with West China Hospital, Sichuan University, and in partnership with the Global Nursing Network for Rare Diseases (GNNRD). The conference will be held from 21 to 23 July 2027 at Academia, Singapore General Hospital Campus, Singapore. 

With the theme, “Driving Towards Nursing 5.0”, SHNC 2027 brings together nursing and healthcare leaders, educators, researchers, clinicians, and industry experts to explore how digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and innovation are reshaping healthcare and nursing practice. 

As we advance into an era of unprecedented technological progress, the human connection remains at the heart of nursing. While technology and AI can enhance care delivery, they cannot replace the compassion, empathy, critical thinking, and therapeutic relationships that nurses bring to every patient encounter. Instead, these innovations present opportunities for nurses to harness new technologies, improve care outcomes, and reimagine the way we deliver person-centred care. 

This conference provides a platform to prepare both current and future generations of nurses to lead confidently in a digital world, leveraging innovation while preserving the human touch that defines our profession. Through keynote presentations, expert panels, scientific sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities, participants will gain insights, exchange ideas, and forge collaborations that will shape the future of nursing and healthcare.
