Finance for Non-Financial Executives & Managers


This intensive and yet light-hearted course provides an overview of financial accounting, management accounting and project evaluation topics. Participants with zero-knowledge of accounting and finance are welcome to attend.


Learning Objectives

Trainer's unique Visual Accounting Model© shows a bird's eyeview of financial accounting principles, system and procedure on just an A4 sheet.  Participants get to analyse typical transactions in a hospital.  They will see how these transactions flow through the accounting process before preparing the financial statements themselves – a very practical experience!

  • Understanding financial statements
  • Playing CALIE© Card Game
  • Knowing the types of cost
  • Using Break-Even Analysis
  • Budgeting and Cost Control
  • Evaluating project cash-flows

Target Audience
Healthcare professionals who are required to have basic understanding in accounting and financial information in their course of work.
