SMU-SingHealth Health Economics and Management (HEM) Second Major Internship Programme


Organised by the Singapore Management University (SMU) and the SingHealth Academy College of Healthcare Administration and Leadership (CHeAL), the SMU-SingHealth Health Economics and Management (HEM) Second Major Internship Programme offers a 10-week or 6-month internship programme for students to be equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to grow into the healthcare administrators and managers of tomorrow. The programme incorporates a practical component as well, offering students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience at SingHealth hospitals and institutions in a variety of topics, such as health systems and policies, healthcare management, operations and supply chain management. The programme is opened to all SMU students in their first or second year of study.

Participants will have the opportunities to gain insights and knowledge from SingHealth clinicians and administrators on their experience and expertise in a variety of topics, such as health systems and policies, healthcare management, operations and supply chain management.
