
Undergraduate Elective Programmes
(Clinical Observership Attachments)
Students will be able to observe a choice of NDCS signature/subspeciality programmes to see how dentistry is practiced in a clinical setting at the institution. They will be presented with a wide variety of cases and treatment procedures occurring in the specialist clinics, as well as day surgeries at the General Anaesthesia (GA) & Local Anaesthesia (LA) operating theatres.
Duration:
A minimum of 3 days to a maximum of 1 week clinical observership attachment programme (Monday to Friday) in a clinical setting at NDCS.
Important to Note:
Applications should be submitted 3 months in advance of the proposed period of posting to be considered.
Applications for observership are open all year round, made through NDCS website or via email except during these periods:
- The last two weeks of December
- The last two weeks of June and the first week of July
Applicants must currently be a student of a dental school.
