NITEC in Dental Technology Programme

The NITEC in Dental Technology Programme aims to develop skilled technicians adept at fabricating customised prostheses to improve patients' facial appearances and restore his/her oral functions.

Jointly organised by the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS), this programme combines off-the-job at the National Dental Centre (NDCS) and on-the-job training at the workplace.

Upon successful completion, the trainee will receive a nationally recognised NITEC in Dental Technology, awarded by ITE.


Duration: 
2 years (4 academic terms for off-the-job training)

Entry Requirements:
  • 3 GCE 'N' level passes (Grades 1 – 5) in Mathematics and any other 2 subjects OR
  • 2 GCE 'O' level passes (Grades 1 – 8) in any 2 subjects

Training Grants are available for eligible employers.
