Asst Prof Rose Fok Wai Yee

Asst Prof Rose Fok is Consultant Family Physician at the Division of Medical Oncology at the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) and at SingHealth Polyclinics. In these roles, she cares for survivors of breast and gynaecological cancers and runs a risk management clinic to optimise surveillance for patients with genetic mutations. In her polyclinic role she cares for patients with complex primary care conditions and is co-developing a community cancer survivorship and palliative care program. She has served on the NACC: Preventive & early detection sub-committee, contributing to national policy. 
 
Asst Prof Fok is the Lead in Cancer survivorship at NCCS and has completed a HMDP fellowship with the Integrative Medicine Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York City, USA. She will introduce a new service of integrative oncology at NCCS. 
 
Asst Prof Fok is Deputy Director of Primary Care Oncology education unit, Division of Cancer Education and advocates for "Cancer as a chronic disease". She has collaborated to develop cancer survivorship clinical practice guidelines in breast and colorectal cancer survivorship. She teaches within the Master of Medicine and Fellowship (Family Medicine) programs. Her research includes cancer prevention, genetic screening, survivorship and primary care oncology.
