Basic ECG Interpretation I
This course aims to equip nurses with knowledge and skills to interpret and responds to abnormal ECG rhythms in the clinical settings.
At this course, participants will learn to:
Describe the Fundamentals of ECG
Calculate the heart rate
Outline the approach to rhythmn analysis, recognise the 6 steps for rhythm analysis
Identify and interpret Atrial arrhythmias
Identify and interpret Heart Blocks
Identify and interpret Ventricular arrhythmias
Target Audience
Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses with at least 6 months working experiences in clinical settings.
Exclusion Criteria:
Registered Nurses who had obtained Advanced Diploma in Nursing (Critical Care, Medical-Surgical & Emergency Nursing)
Registered Nurses who had attended Clinical Teaching Course for Nurses
Enrolled Nurses who had attended Senior Enrolled Nurse Developmental Programme
