Ms Pang Nguk Lan is a Registered Nurse with 20 years of Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience and she currently heads the Office of Quality, Safety and Risk Management, at KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH). She holds a Master Degree in Science, Healthcare Management, and is a Certified Enterprise Risk Manager. She is also the Deputy Group Director of the Institute of Patient Safety and Quality, SingHealth, Duke-NUS and the Programme Director for Patient Safety Network Programme at KKH.

Ms Pang serves as Institution Risk Officer. She is a Faculty Member of the Singapore Healthcare Improvement Network, a collaborative of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.

At the regional and international level, she is an Executive Member of Asia Pacific Paediatric Nursing Association and serves as Secretary to the Advisory Board of the Neonatal and Paediatric Intensive Care Foundation.
