Associate Professor Ong Hock Soo is Senior Consultant and Head of Department for Upper Gastrointestinal and Bariatric Surgery. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine, National University of Singapore and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, the Academy of Medicine of Singapore and the American College of Surgeons.
He is Surgeon Champion of the SGH NSQIP program and a member of IPSQ Council and SingHealth Procedural Safety Workgroup. His sub-specialty interests are in Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Surgical Nutrition and Trauma.
