Adj Assoc Prof Chua Yeow Leng is the Group Director, International Collaboration Office, SingHealth and a Senior Consultant with the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery, National Heart Centre Singapore.

As a Cardiothoracic surgeon, he has special interest in mitral valve repair and atrial fibrillation surgeries. His sub-specialty interest is in cardiac surgery, thoracic & vascular surgery and robotic assisted surgery. A/Prof Chua has been appointed Adj Assoc Prof, Department of Anatomy by Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore and Nanyang Polytechnic, Singapore. Apart from his clinical and teaching commitments, he has written for numerous publications and is also actively involved in clinical trials and research.

In his role as Group Director of International Collaboration Office (ICO), Adj Assoc Prof Chua leads ICO in medical collaboration and capacity building projects. Through knowledge-sharing and skills transfer, SingHealth’s ICO works with healthcare institutions and non-profit philanthropic organisations in the region, to help build a strong pipeline of healthcare practitioners who are empowered to improve care outcomes, pursue higher education and research.
