One of the nice features of this congress is the interprofessional participation. The sessions bring together all members of the team such as the physicians, nurses and therapists, which is really how it works in healthcare as well.

This session provides an opportunity for further exploration of the four Cores of the SingHealth Duke-NUS Global Health Institute (SDGHI). Drawing on existing strengths across the Academic Medical Centre, SDGHI aims to promote and conduct
research that responds to urgent needs and priorities in neighbouring countries. SDGHI will provide a platform for interdisciplinary global health
education and training. SDGHI will carry out a series of activities to build competencies, enhance collaboration and promote thought leadership in innovative regulatory science. It will also facilitate policy dialogues and build networks with national agencies, industry and academia. Through knowledge sharing and skills transfer, SDGHI will work with healthcare institutions to nurture a strong pipeline of health care practitioners who are empowered to improve care outcomes. These
capacity-building initiatives could potentially provide significant opportunities for implementation research, educational activities for students and residents and regional and national policy dialogues.
