Dr Timothy LIM Yong Kuei
 

Dr Timothy Lim Yong Kuei is the Head and Senior Consultant of the Department of Gynaecological Oncology, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH). He is also the Deputy Chairman of the Division of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (O&G), KKH. He is very active in both postgraduate and undergraduate education, and is a Physician Faculty of the SingHealth O&G Residency Programme. He also teaches at Duke-NUS Medical School as an Adjunct Assistant Professor.

He has been involved in clinical research for more than 10 years and has published more than 30 scientific articles. His main research interest is in cancers of the genital tract as well as complex pelvic surgery including advanced laparoscopic surgery. Dr Lim is the Honorary Secretary of the O&G Society of Singapore, and immediate Past Vice-President of the Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology of Singapore. He has also won several awards including the best clinical teacher award 2007 from the National University Singapore (NUS), Service with a Heart awards, SingHeath Service quality awards, NUS commendation awards, SingHealth Residency in SingHealth Excels awards (O&G Residency), the best scientific abstract award (Gynaecologic Oncology) at the 10^th Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists international Congress in 2012 and the best video presentation award at the 10^th Singapore International Congress in Obstetrics & Gynaecology 2015.
