Dr Tan Lay Kok is a Senior Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the Singapore General Hospital. He is also an adjunct associate professor at Duke-NUS School of Medicine, and holds an adjunct post at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. As the Associate Programme Director for the SingHealth OBGYN Residency Programme, Dr Tan is actively involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education. He has a special interest in Obstetric medicine and high-risk pregnancy and runs the high-risk pregnancy clinic as well as the multidisciplinary joint speciality clinics in cardiology, rheumatology and diabetes in pregnancy. Dr Tan has contributed two book chapters on gestational diabetes. He is also the current President of the Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Singapore.
