Ms Maureen Tan is currently working as a Clinic Pharmacy Manager in SingHealth Polyclinics (Bukit Merah). In October 2009, she was nominated by SingHealth Polyclinics (SHP) Pharmacy Department to go on a one-month Health Manpower Development Plan attachment to Toronto’s Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. She was placed under the mentorship of Dr William Geerts, a renowned clinician scientist in the thromboembolism field. Upon her return, she assisted SHP Pharmacy Department to set up SHP’s Anticoagulation Management Service in 2010, with the aim of improving compliance rate of patients through safer use of warfarin.
