Dr George GOH Boon Bee

Dr George Goh is currently a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist at the Singapore General Hospital. After completion of his Healthcare Manpower Development Plan fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in United States of America, where he underwent further subspecialty training in Hepatology, with a research focus on non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), he has established a dedicated subspecialty NAFLD clinic, with multi-disciplinary involvement from other relevant specialities. 

In addition, Dr Goh remains actively involved in research and has published articles in the areas of NAFLD, liver cirrhosis, hepatocellular carcinoma and organ transplantation. His research is currently funded by the Nurturing Clinician Scientist Award. He is also part of the invited faculty for both local and international conferences, presenting in the fields of NAFLD, viral hepatitis, cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma.

Besides clinical care and research, Dr Goh is interested in medical undergraduate and postgraduate education, serving as Clinical Lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, as well as Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Duke-NUS Medical School.
