Dr Bee Yong Mong is Head, SingHealth Duke-NUS Diabetes Centre and a Senior Consultant with the Department of Endocrinology at Singapore General Hospital (SGH). Dr Bee graduated from the National University of Singapore and completed his specialist training in Endocrinology in SGH. In 2009, he was awarded the Health Manpower Development Plan fellowship and went for specialised training in diabetes at the Joslin Diabetes Centre in Boston, United States of America. Dr Bee is also active in research and education. He was awarded the National Medical Research Council New Investigator Grant in 2011. He served as Programme Director for the SingHealth Endocrinology Senior Residency Programme from 2012 to 2015. Dr Bee is currently a member of the Disease Management Workgroup under the Singapore Ministry of Health Diabetes Prevention and Care Taskforce.
