It’s very rare to get an opportunity to be interacting with other researchers who are interested in a completely different research area, compared to the same people you always meet when you go to an immunotherapy/oncology conference. It’s really a great opportunity to get the latest and greatest about the science, but also to interact with colleagues that normally you wouldn’t have a chance to meet with.

The second panel session of the Global Health Symposium, entitled ‘Exploring the Impact of COVID-19: Challenges and Opportunities’, will present both the negative and the positive outcomes of COVID-19. Drawn from a diverse range of experiences, speakers in this session will discuss topics ranging from the psychological well-being of healthcare workers, innovations generated in response to constraints imposed by the pandemic, to issues of enabling access in low resource regions.
