The SingHealth Pathology Residency Programme gives Residents much opportunities to grow and hone our diagnostic skills. With the mentorship of seniors and Faculty, Residents, like us, can be assured that support will always be given to groom and nurture us to be pathologists of the future.

"As a trainee, it is humbling to be mentored by world and regional experts in the cluster, and to work alongside our support staff and fellow clinicians in a joint effort to put patients at the heart of what we do."

SingHealth Pathology is an exciting place to train and work in. We receive such a diverse range of cases here that textbook entities quickly become familiar, with fine print and case reports coming alive. It is however, ultimately the patients that make our work meaningful.

Training in Pathology has been a challenge, with a steep learning curve. But with the help and mentorship I have received in the programme, I have been able to improve and progress.

"SingHealth Pathology Residency has a good structure in place for learning and individual development. Additionally, I chose this sponsoring institution because SingHealth institutions offer a varied patient case load across different subspecialties - which in Pathology is essential for not just training, but also research. The family-like environment and team spirit fostered in residency complements this further, and all in all makes it a programme I am grateful to be a part of."
