Your Learning Experience

The Otolaryngology Residency Programme at SingHealth is a five-year programme to equip you with the knowledge, skills and attitudes of a proficient otorhinolaryngologist. Critical areas of knowledge and clinical decision-making will be an integral part of your training, with specific surgical procedures outlined on a year-to-year basis.

Clinician Scientist Residency Track

Clinician Scientist (CS) Residents will spend an additional year on the programme. During your first two years, you will participate in departmental and research-related learning activities together with CS Residents. From Year 3 to 6, you will embark on the experiential component of your education in research. As you begin your research project, you will be mentored throughout the preparatory, investigational and synthesis phases of your project, with aim of obtaining a Master of Clinical Investigation or equivalent by the end of Year 6.
