While a challenging specialty with a mountain of knowledge to climb, Medical Oncology has given me the opportunity to walk with patients through their cancer journey. The joys when their disease responds to treatment, and the struggles that come with each setback or challenge. The constant advances in anti-cancer therapeutics brings much hope and excitement, yet it is the day to day act of supporting patients through their lives that truly brings satisfaction.
