Transition to Care Programme (Level 2)

The programme aims to provide a platform for nurses returning from studying advanced diploma/masters programmes to get updates on new facilities, services, policies and guideline during their course away study in SingHealth. Within this context, we believe this support will promote their understanding of their new roles and responsibilities as trained specialized nurses, re-directing their roles back to the work force.


At this course, participants will learn to:

  • Gain an update of Infection Prevention and Epidemiology

  •  Discuss nursing quality management and research in SingHealth

  • Understand preparedness and responsiveness at SingHealth

  •  Gain an understanding of grievance handling procedures and staff discipline policy

  • Discuss the overview of SingHealth

  • Gain an overview of SingHealth Nursing

  • Gain an overview of SingHealth Transplant programmes 

  • Discuss nursing quality management in SGH

  • Discuss quality improvement in SGH

  • Obtain an update in nursing informatics

  • Gain an overview of evidenced based practice and nursing research in SGH

  • Discuss advanced care planning

  • Understand TeamSpeak
