Age Friendly Initiative for Front-liners

This workshop is designed for frontline healthcare professionals who interact with elderly patients on a regular basis. It is an experiential workshop which focuses on Ageing Sensitisation.

Participants will experience the difficulties, frustrations and challenges faced by elderly patients in their simple day-to-day activities, such as dressing themselves and form filling.

Learning Objectives

At the end of the course, participants will learn to:

  • Be more conscious of elderly patients in the course of work
  • Understand the challenges faced by elderly patients
  • Be more empathetic towards elderly patients

Target Audience

Frontline healthcare professionals who interact with elderly patients on a daily basis in the course of their work and staff in supporting or administrative departments, and have interactions with the elderly at work.
