WSQ - Demonstrate the Service Vision (Level 1 Service Leadership)

CRS-Q-0038634-RET (SSG Funding Validity Period: 19 August 2019 to 18 August 2021)


This course covers knowledge and application skills in demonstrating the organisation’s service vision, mission and values and recognising the role that one plays in contributing to the service value chain.

   

Learning Objectives

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Know the purpose of having a Vision, Mission and Values in an organisation
  • Understand how the service delivery to customer is interdependent on each other and everyone’s role is significant to the entire Service Value Chain
  • See that patient experience is about meaningful interactions between patients together with families within the healthcare system
  • Recognise the importance and impact of demonstrating qualities of a service star
  • Distinguish the difference between service and service excellence
  • Demonstrate the qualities of a service star
  • Monitor one’s performance using a few methods
  • Understand how feedback can be used to improve on one’s work performance and service delivery
  • Handle feedbacks positively, using it to grow and improve on themselves


A written assessment will be conducted at the end of the course. Upon successful completion of the course, participants who fulfill the minimum required attendance and are certified competent in the written assessment will be awarded the Statement of Attainment (SOA) by SSG.

For self-sponsored individual:

• To enjoy SkillsFuture subsidy, you must be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident and at least 21 
  years old.

• All Singapore citizens aged 25 and above are eligible to use the SkillsFuture Credit from the government to pay
  for this course. Should you wish to use the SkillsFuture Credit, please make your claim prior to the course
  commencement.


For employer-sponsored participant:

• To enjoy any of the above subsidies, you must not apply for any other form of government subsidy.

• The company has to make payment for nett course fee (inclusive of GST) prior to the course commencement.


Cancellation & Refund Policy

• No refund or credit will be issued upon confirmation of the course. 

• The full course fee will be charged for withdrawal received less than a week before the course
   commencement date.

• Courses may be subjected to change or cancellation. Please note that a minimum number of
   fifteen (15) participants is required. If the minimum number is not met, the course will be cancelled.
   We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.


The following participants will be charged the full course fee (inclusive of GST):

• Participants who are absent from the course
• Participants with less than 75% of the total course attendance
• Participants who are assessed incompetent at the end of the course
• Participants whose training grant/claims application was not approved by SSG
• Participants who has enjoyed funding for the same course before
