The three offices in the College of Clinical Medicine (CCM) are Undergraduate (Medical Students), Graduate (Residency) and Postgraduate (Fellowship). CCM facilitates learning processes, with an emphasis on the learning environment, training programmes and faculty development. These offices also collaborate to develop strategies that ensure continuum in learning across all medical and surgical specialties.
Undergraduate (Medical Students)
The Undergraduate (Medical Students) office provides undergraduate clinical attachment training to students from Singapore's three medical schools: Duke-NUS Medical School, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technical University. The office also works closely with Associate Deans from the universities to help direct medical teaching programmes tailored to both the learning needs of the students and Singapore's healthcare landscape as well as assess the progress of medical students.
SingHealth is the largest site for Residency training in
Singapore, with about half of the nation's Residents enrolled in
SingHealth Residency Programmes. The Graduate (Residency) office coordinates and manages the training of the Residents to ensure that core competencies in medicine and surgery are successfully fulfilled before graduation from specialty training. The office also oversees the ACGME-I and JCST accreditation statuses of the Programmes and handles Faculty development affairs.
