Objective
The Cardiopulmonary Physiotherapy Workshop Series arose from a need to bridge the gap of post-professional training in cardiopulmonary physiotherapy. It also acknowledges the importance of a continuum of cardiopulmonary physiotherapy education, even after graduation.
With the changing medical practices, technological advances in medicine and healthcare, as well as changing trends in care delivery, participants will be provided with updated information to enhance cardiopulmonary physiotherapy practice.
These workshops are part of the Advanced Certificate in Cardiopulmonary Physiotherapy (ACCP), which is a comprehensive program that aims to provide advance training in the physiotherapy management of cardiac & pulmonary problems arising from medical or surgical conditions, across the lifespan and in different work settings. The ACCP course consists of the completion of 5 workshops, which are made up of 3 Core workshops (Basic and Advanced Respiratory Care (beyond undergraduate level) and Critical Care Physiotherapy) and 2 Elective workshops (selected out of 4 available elective workshops)
